Shipping Details:
We do not ship anything that is restricted, e.g. Firearms, aerosol cans, flammable materials, alcohol, fireworks. We also cannot ship endangered species items e.g. ivory.
Shipping within Canada: All non-breakable items will be shipped via Canada Post with insurance for loss. All breakable items will be shipped via UPS with insurance for breakage and loss. Tax will be included on all Canadian shipping costs.
Shipping Internationally: All items purchased will be shipped via The United States Postal Service with insurance for breakage and loss, unless a special request is made by buyer on the day of auction.
Any questions regarding shipping of items purchased at auction should be asked prior to placing bids at the auction.
Winning online bidders will receive an email, within a week to ten days after the auction, advising them of the shipping costs. The credit card provided for the purchase at the auction will be used for the shipping costs. Payment will be processed by Theresa Taylor Auctioneering.
All items shipped will be insured for its purchase value.
A delivery confirmation will be provided once the item(s) have been shipped.
Insurance, packaging and delivery confirmation will be included in the shipping price.
Shipping rates vary based on size of the package, weight of the package and destination's postal code or zip code. Multiple packages may incur additional costs of which you will be advised of.
Please note that any item over $100.00 entering the U.S. is subject to duties and taxes set by the U.S. government.
Outside of the United States of America:
It is your responsibility to be aware of your country's import policy on commodity purchased. Each shipment destined for addresses outside of Canada will require itemized paperwork and declarations to ensure swift and proper clearance through the destination country's customs house. Depending on the item and its nature and value, the customs house in the recipient's country may charge duty, taxes and brokerage fees associated with the clearing of the items through customs. These costs will be the purchasers' responsibility. We encourage you to contact your country's customs house to ensure you understand your country's clearance procedures and fee schedule.
Payment Details:
All accounts must be settled at the conclusion of the auctions. We accept Visa and MasterCard only.
Your credit card will be charged for your purchases, plus buyer's premium, fees and any taxes. Please ensure that your credit card provider is aware that your credit card will be processed in Canadian dollars without your presence.
Any bidders with credit cards that are declined on reconciliation day will be charged a $25.00 processing fee to run another credit card. NO EXCEPTIONS!
The Auction house reserves the right to request a different form of payment (wire transfer, certified cheque or bank draft) for larger amounts.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Theresa Taylor & Associates Auctioneering (referred to as the Auctioneer) is providing Internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to the Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Auctioneer or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Auctioneer will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their maximum 24hours before the auction begins. In the event of an identical bid on the floor, the bid in attendance shall take precedence. Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.
Full Payment: All items must be paid for in full before Bidder takes possession. No items may be removed or shipped until payment has been settled. Payment for purchases must be made by Visa or MasterCard. All sales are subject to Sales Tax Laws.
No Warranty: All property is sold "AS IS" without warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. The Auctioneer has put forth every effort in preparing the catalog for this auction to provide accurate descriptions of all items in good faith and they are matters of opinion. The descriptions of items appearing in advertising prior to this auction are believed to be correct. Nevertheless, neither those descriptions nor any oral statements made by the Owner (or his agents or officers) or the Auctioneer (or his agents or officers) concerning any item shall be construed as a warranty, either expressed or implied. Bidders who bid from off site and are not present at the live auction or preview understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. The Auctioneer shall endeavor to describe in detail each item and any pertinent information about it. The Auctioneer will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase.
There is a $10.00 minimum opening bid online.
There will be a 15% Buyer's Premium added to your purchase as well as a convenience fee of $5.00 for the first item purchased and a fee of $1.00 per every additional item. This fee covers securing your purchase at the auction facility.
The purchaser agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred by the Auctioneer in the collection of funds. The purchaser also agrees that a fee of 2% per month be added to the balance of any unpaid balance due the Auctioneer and any other costs or losses incurred by the purchaser's failure to adhere to these terms.
The auctioneer has the sole discretion to advance the bidding and may reject a nominal advance, should it in his/her estimation prove injurious to the auction. The Auctioneer shall be the final judge in all bidding disputes and shall name a bidder as the purchaser.
The Auctioneer shall not be responsible for any "missed" bids.
Disputes: The Auctioneer shall designate the winning bidder after each item is auctioned. If a dispute arises between two or more bidders, the Auctioneer reserves the right to reopen the bidding. The Auctioneer's designation of a Buyer shall be final.
By bidding on any item, the bidder shows acceptance of the terms of the auction.
All announcements made day of auction take precedence over any and all written, verbal or electronic statements.
After a Bidder has won the bid with his/her high bid, they have become the new owners of the item, even though they may not have paid for the item yet.
The auction company reserves the right to refuse service or decline registration to any person.
