United States Mint 2023-W American Silver Eagle One Dollar coin, burnished finish, certified by PCGS with a grade of SP70. This special edition was struck at the West Point Mint, indicated by the W mintmark on both obverse and reverse sides. The obverse design features Adolph A. Weinman's Walking Liberty, originally used on the half dollar from 1916 to 1947, depicting Liberty in full stride toward the sunrise, draped in the American flag, extending her right hand while carrying branches of laurel and oak in her left arm. The reverse, designed by Emily Damstra and engraved by Michael Gaudioso, showcases a bald eagle descending with wings outstretched, clutching an oak branch in its talons. The inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DOLLAR, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
