A 2022-W American Silver Eagle Type 2 One Dollar Coin issued by the United States Mint. This uncirculated coin is composed of one troy ounce of .999 fine silver and bears the "W" mint mark signifying production at the West Point Mint. The obverse design, originally created by Adolph A. Weinman, features Liberty in full stride, draped in the American flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak held in her left arm. The reverse, introduced as part of the Type 2 redesign, depicts a bald eagle approaching a landing while clutching an oak branch in its talons. The coin includes inscriptions such as UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DOLLAR, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, and E PLURIBUS UNUM. The lot includes the uncirculated coin housed in its original United States Mint presentation case with outer box, along with the accompanying certificate of authenticity. Coin diameter: 40.60mm.
