A 2021 American Silver Eagle one dollar coin, minted from one troy ounce of .999 fine silver and graded Mint State 69 (MS69) by NGC, signifying near-perfection. This issue represents the final year of the original reverse design and is labeled as "Heraldic Eagle T-1" denoting the Type 1 reverse introduced in 1986 and retired mid 2021. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's iconic Walking Liberty composition, with Liberty enveloped in the American flag as she strides toward a radiant sunrise, extending one arm in welcome and cradling branches of oak and laurel in the other. The inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 2021 are sharply defined across the lustrous surface. The reverse, a revered design by John Mercanti, presents the heraldic eagle with wings spread wide, clutching an olive branch and arrows in its talons, beneath a ribbon bearing the national motto E PLURIBUS UNUM and encircled by thirteen stars honoring the original states. Housed in a graded NGC holder for further preservation and authentication. Slab measures: 2.25"L x 0.25"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 40.6 mm.
