A 2021 one dollar American Silver Eagle bullion coin struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, graded MS 70 by ANACS and designated as a First Strike coin. This release represents the final issue of the original reverse design, known as Type 1, before the mid-year transition to the Type 2 "Eagle Landing" design. The obverse bears Adolph A. Weinman's classic "Walking Liberty" motif, with Liberty advancing toward the sunrise, draped in the flag of the United States and holding laurel and oak branches. The reverse features John Mercanti's heraldic eagle with shield, clutching arrows and an olive branch, a banner in its beak inscribed E PLURIBUS UNUM, and a constellation of thirteen stars above. Encapsulated in a patriotic flag-themed ANACS holder for further preservation and authentication. Slab measures: 2.25"L x 0.25"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 40.6 mm.
