A 2020- (P) American Silver Eagle one dollar coin certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation as MS69 and designated as both Early Releases and Emergency Production, denoting a limited run struck at the Philadelphia Mint in response to production disruptions during that year. Composed of one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. This Mint State issue bears Adolph A. Weinman's iconic Walking Liberty design on the obverse, with inscriptions including LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the year of mintage. The reverse features the heraldic eagle designed by John Mercanti, holding arrows and an olive branch beneath a constellation of thirteen stars, with inscriptions identifying the issuing country, weight, purity, and denomination. This emergency strike, which lacks a mintmark but is attributed to Philadelphia by its certified origin.
