This 2019-(W) American Silver Eagle one-dollar coin, struck at the West Point Mint from one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, has been certified MS70 by the Professional Coin Grading Service. Bearing the "First Day of Issue" designation. The obverse, designed by Adolph A. Weinman, depicts Liberty striding gracefully toward the dawn, draped in the American flag and carrying branches of oak and laurel, symbolic of strength and peace. The liberty design is followed by the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the year below. The reverse, designed by John M. Mercanti, portrays a heraldic eagle with shield, clutching arrows and an olive branch beneath thirteen stars signifying the original colonies. It is surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 oz. FINE SILVER - ONE DOLLAR. Encapsulated and certified by PCGS for authenticity and preservation.
