2018-W American Silver Eagle Type 1 Dollar NGC Graded PF 70 Ultra Cameo
2018-W American Silver Eagle one-dollar coin from the United States Mint, issued as part of the limited-release "Congratulations Set." This proof coin was struck at the West Point Mint, designated by the "W" mintmark visible on the reverse. Certified and encapsulated by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), the coin has received a perfect grade of PF 70 Ultra Cameo, indicating flawless surfaces and exceptional contrast between the frosted devices and mirrored fields. The obverse design features Adolph A. Weinman's historic Walking Liberty, originally used on the half dollar from 1916 to 1947. Lady Liberty is depicted draped in the American flag, walking toward the rising sun while carrying branches of laurel and oak, symbolizing civil and military glory. The inscriptions include "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the date "2018." The reverse, designed by John Mercanti, displays a heraldic eagle with shield, clutching arrows and an olive branch. Above the eagle are thirteen stars representing the original colonies. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER-ONE DOLLAR," and "E PLURIBUS UNUM." The NGC holder includes the official Congratulations Set designation. Slab: 2.25"L x 0.5"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 39mm.
