2018-S American Silver Eagle one dollar proof coin struck at the San Francisco Mint, certified PR70DCAM by PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service). The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's iconic "Walking Liberty" design, originally used on the half dollar from 1916 to 1947. Liberty is shown striding confidently toward the sunrise, enveloped in the American flag, her right hand extended and her left hand holding branches of laurel and oak. The reverse, designed by John Mercanti, displays a heraldic eagle with shield, grasping arrows and an olive branch, with a ribbon inscribed with "E Pluribus Unum" in its beak and thirteen five-pointed stars above the eagle's head representing the original colonies. This coin is part of the Premier series and labeled "First Edition - 1 of 1,000." It contains one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The coin bears the "S" mint mark of the San Francisco Mint and is encapsulated in a secure PCGS holder. Slab: 2.5"L x 0.25"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 39mm.
