This 2017-S American Silver Eagle one-dollar proof coin, struck at the San Francisco Mint in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, has been graded PR70 Deep Cameo (DCAM) by the Professional Coin Grading Service. Designated as a "First Day of Issue" example from the limited-release Congratulations Set. The obverse showcases Adolph A. Weinman's celebrated Walking Liberty design, portraying Liberty striding confidently toward the sunrise with branches of oak and laurel symbolizing strength and victory. The design flanked with the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the year below. The reverse, designed by John M. Mercanti, depicts a heraldic eagle with shield, olive branch, and arrows beneath thirteen stars representing the original colonies. It is surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 oz. FINE SILVER - ONE DOLLAR, and the mint mark "S" which signifies its San Francisco origin. Encapsulated and certified by PCGS for authenticity and preservation.
