Struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this 2017 American Silver Eagle Type 1 coin is graded Mint State 70 (MS 70) by NGC and carries the First Day of Issue designation. The obverse features the iconic Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman, depicting a full-length figure of Liberty striding confidently toward the sun, enveloped in the folds of the United States flag. Liberty extends her right arm forward while carrying branches of laurel and oak in her left hand, symbolizing both civil and military glory. The reverse showcases the heraldic eagle design representing the United States Coat of Arms, with a bald eagle bearing a shield, clutching arrows and an olive branch in its talons. A banner in the eagle's beak reads E PLURIBUS UNUM, and a constellation of thirteen stars appears above, signifying the original colonies. The edge is reeded. This coin is encapsulated and certified by NGC with its original tamper-evident holder, including the First Day of Issue holographic label. Slab: 2.25"L x 0.5"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 39mm.
