2017 American Silver Eagle bullion coin graded MS 70 by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), designated First Day of Issue. Struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this United States Mint issue features the Type 1 reverse design. The obverse showcases the Walking Liberty design originally created by Adolph A. Weinman, depicting Liberty in full stride toward the rising sun, draped in the U.S. flag, with her right arm outstretched and branches of laurel and oak in her left. The reverse bears the traditional heraldic eagle design, representing the Great Seal of the United States, with a shield on its chest, arrows in its left talon, and an olive branch in its right. The eagle clutches a flowing ribbon in its beak inscribed with E PLURIBUS UNUM beneath thirteen stars arranged in a triangular formation. Encapsulated in a certified NGC holder with a First Day of Issue label. Slab: 2.25"L x 0.5"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 39mm.
