A 2017 American Silver Eagle one dollar coin struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, certified by NGC as MS 70 and designated First Day of Issue. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's iconic "Walking Liberty" design, depicting Liberty striding toward the rising sun draped in the American flag, with branches of laurel and oak in her left arm, and inscriptions reading LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the year. The reverse displays John Mercanti's heraldic eagle with shield, clutching arrows and olive branches, and a banner bearing the national motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, encircled by thirteen stars and inscriptions denoting weight, fineness, and denomination. A hallmark of modern U.S. bullion. Housed in a graded NGC holder for further preservation and authentication. Slab measures: 2.25"L x 0.25"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 40.6 mm.
