A 2017 American Silver Eagle one-dollar coin struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, and certified by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as Mint State 70. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's timeless 1916 Walking Liberty design, depicting Liberty in full stride toward a rising sun, draped in the American flag, with her right arm extended in greeting and her left hand bearing branches of laurel and oak. The scene is encircled by the inscription LIBERTY, flanked by IN GOD WE TRUST at right, and dated 2017 at the base. The reverse, designed by 12th Chief Engraver John Mercanti, portrays a bold heraldic eagle with a shield on its breast, grasping arrows in its left talon and an olive branch in its right, with a ribbon inscribed E PLURIBUS UNUM flowing from its beak and thirteen stars above; representing the original colonies. Housed in a graded NGC slab for further preservation and authentication. Slab measures: 2.25"L x 0.25"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 40.6 mm.
