This 2021 American Silver Eagle represents the inaugural year of the redesigned Type II reverse, certified a flawless MS70 by ANACS and designated a First Strike issue. Struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver and bearing the "W" mintmark of the West Point Mint. The obverse remains faithful to Adolph A. Weinman's storied "Walking Liberty" design, with Lady Liberty gracefully striding toward the dawn of a new day, draped in the flag of the United States, bearing laurel and oak branches symbolizing civil and military triumph. The reverse, debuting in 2021, features an evocative image of a bald eagle descending with wings spread wide and talons clutching an oak branch, designed by Emily Damstra and sculpted by Michael Gaudioso. Enclosed in a graded ANACS slab for further preservation and authentication. Slab measures: 2.25"L x 0.25"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 40.6 mm.
