2013-W American Silver Eagle Type 1 Dollar First Strike PCGS Graded MS 69
2013-W American Silver Eagle one dollar coin struck at the West Point Mint and graded MS69 by PCGS. This coin is part of the First Strike program, which denotes that it was received by PCGS within the first 30 days of the coin's initial release. Classified as "Enhanced Mint State," this issue was part of the special West Point Mint Set. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's iconic Walking Liberty design, depicting Liberty striding toward the sunrise, her right arm extended forward and draped in the American flag, while holding branches of laurel and oak in her left hand. The inscriptions include "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the date "2013" at the bottom. The reverse, designed by John Mercanti, displays a heraldic eagle behind a shield, grasping arrows in its left talon and an olive branch in its right. A banner in the eagle's beak bears the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM," and thirteen five-pointed stars appear above the eagle, representing the original thirteen colonies. Around the edge is the legend "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - 1 OZ. FINE SILVER - ONE DOLLAR." The coin bears the "W" mintmark beneath the left side of the eagle's tail feathers. Encapsulated and sealed by PCGS in a tamper-evident holder with the First Strike designation. Slab: 2.5"L x 0.25"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 39mm.
