One 2013 S American Silver Eagle Type 1 coin, officially certified and encapsulated by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) with a grade of Mint State 70 (MS 70). This specimen is part of the Early Releases designation, confirming it was received by NGC within 30 days of the coin's release by the U.S. Mint. The coin was struck at the San Francisco Mint. The obverse features the Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman, portraying Liberty in full stride with the American flag draped around her shoulders, her right arm outstretched and her left arm holding branches of laurel and oak. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the year 2013. The reverse side displays the heraldic eagle with shield, designed by John Mercanti, clutching an olive branch and arrows in its talons. Thirteen stars appear above the eagle, representing the original colonies. Surrounding text includes UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER-ONE DOLLAR, and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. Composed of .999 fine silver, this legal tender coin has a face value of one dollar and contains one troy ounce of silver. Encapsulated in a tamper-evident holder with an NGC certification label and barcode. Slab: 2.25"L x 0.5"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 39mm.
