(Wed. June 27, 2012 – Mon. July 2, 2012) The 2012 World Cup of Softball will take place at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, OK. When the possibility of softball being eliminated from the 2012 Olympic Games was looming, the ASA decided to create the World Cup of Softball in Oklahoma City in 2005 to give the top countries in the world an event to compete in on a yearly basis. The World Cup of Softball was quickly established as one of the premier events for the sport of softball in the world.
