2012-S American Silver Eagle one-dollar proof coin, certified and encapsulated by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) with a PF 69 Ultra Cameo grade. This San Francisco Mint issue features the heraldic eagle reverse designed by John Mercanti, with a shield at center, an olive branch in the right talon, and arrows in the left. Above the eagle are thirteen stars arranged in a triangular pattern, symbolizing the original thirteen colonies. The inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER-ONE DOLLAR," and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" on the scrolls held in the eagle's beak. The "S" mintmark appears below the olive branch. The obverse showcases Adolph A. Weinman's iconic Walking Liberty design, originally used on the half dollar from 1916 to 1947. Lady Liberty is shown striding toward the sunrise draped in the American flag, carrying laurel and oak branches in her left arm, symbolizing civil and military glory. The inscriptions read "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the year "2012." Housed in a protective NGC holder with a label denoting its San Francisco origin, grade of PF 69 Ultra Cameo. The Ultra Cameo designation indicates deep frosted devices and mirrored fields, consistent with high-quality proof striking. Slab: 2.25"L x 0.5"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 39mm.
