A meticulously struck 2012 American Silver Eagle one-dollar coin composed of one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, and graded by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as Mint State 70, the highest possible grade. The obverse features the celebrated Walking Liberty design originally created by Adolph A. Weinman in 1916, here depicted with Lady Liberty enveloped in the folds of the American flag as she strides confidently toward a rising sun, her right hand extended in graceful gesture and her left cradling branches of laurel and oak; emblems of civil and military glory. Inscribed with the word LIBERTY in bold relief, the phrase IN GOD WE TRUST to the right, and the year 2012 at the base. The reverse bears the heraldic eagle design conceived by then Chief Engraver John Mercanti, depicting a vigilant eagle with wings spread, clutching arrows and an olive branch, a shield at its breast, and a constellation of thirteen stars above. Housed in a graded NGC slab for further preservation and authentication. Slab measures: 2.25"L x 0.25"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 40.6 mm.
