2011 American Silver Eagle one dollar coin, issued by the United States Mint in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Silver Eagle series. The obverse features the historic Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman, originally used on the half-dollar from 1916 to 1947. It presents Liberty in full stride, draped in the American flag, with her right arm extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left hand, symbolizing civil and military glory. Below the rising sun and horizon, the inscription reads LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, with the date 2011 at the bottom. The reverse, designed by John Mercanti, showcases a heraldic eagle with a shield, clutching arrows and an olive branch. Above the eagle are thirteen stars representing the original colonies. The inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER-ONE DOLLAR, and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. This coin is certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as MS 69 (Mint State 69), indicating near-perfect condition. Designated as an Early Release, it was received by NGC within 30 days of the coin's initial release. The piece is composed of .999 fine silver and is encapsulated in a tamper-evident holder. Slab: 2.25"L x 0.5"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 39mm.
