This 2011 American Silver Eagle one dollar coin struck from one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The face features the timeless Walking Liberty motif depicting Lady Liberty in full stride toward a radiant sun while draped in the American flag and holding branches of laurel and oak symbolizing prosperity and strength. The face is encircled with the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 2011. The reverse displays the heraldic eagle designed by John Mercanti, rendered with a commanding spread of wings and clutching both an olive branch and a bundle of arrows, a shield emblazoned on its breast, and a ribbon bearing the motto E Pluribus Unum flowing from its beak beneath thirteen stars. Enclosed in a cardboard holder. Holder measures: 2"L x 2"H. Coin diameter: 40.6 mm.
