"We hope you will join us for our first fine wine auction in the 2010 season on Sunday February 7th at the Union League Club of Chicago. Featured in this auction is the collection of Albert D. Williams, Jr. with mature Bordeaux such as 1959 Chateau Mouton-Rothschild, 1961 Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion, and 1970 Chateaux Latour, Mouton-Rothschild and Haut-Brion. Fine Burgundy includes 1966 Boillot Pommard, 1969 Pierre Ponnelle Musigny, 1969 Faiveley Latricieres-Chambertin, 1976 Angerville Volnay Clos des Ducs and 1976 Pierre Gelin Chambertin Clos de Beze.
Other highlights in this sale include a bottle of 1959 Jaboulet Hermitage La Chapelle originally purchased at the inaugural Heublein auction in Chicago, 1961 Chateau Latour and 1959 Chateau D'Yquem from the famed Walgreen collection; 1959 Chateaux Mouton-Rothschild and Palmer, and 1961 Chateau Talbot from the Henry Primeaux collection; 1982 Chateaux Lafite-Rothschild, Haut-Brion, Pichon-Lalande and Palmer; case lots of 1986 Chateaux Lafite-Rothschild, Margaux, Mouton-Rothschild, Cos D'Estournel, Lynch-Bages and Montrose; and 1990 Chateau Latour. Also not to be missed from the Primeaux collection is the extensive offering of very limited production California wines many of which were acquired directly from the wineries on release."
