United States one dollar silver bullion coin minted in 2008, featuring the Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman on the obverse, originally used on the half dollar from 1916 to 1947. The reverse, designed by John Mercanti, displays a heraldic eagle with shield, thirteen stars, and the inscription "E PLURIBUS UNUM." Struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this Type 1 version retains the original reverse used from 1986 through mid-2021. The coin is certified and encapsulated by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), designated as "Early Releases" and graded Mint State 69 (MS 69). Slab: 2.25"L x 0.5"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 39mm.
