A 2008 American Silver Eagle one-dollar coin, certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) with a Mint State 69 (MS69) and struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features the celebrated Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman, depicting Liberty in flowing robes striding toward the rising sun, cradling branches of laurel and oak, with the U.S. flag billowing behind and the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 2008. The reverse, created by John Mercanti, presents a heraldic eagle bearing a shield, clutching arrows and an olive branch, with thirteen stars arranged above and encircled by the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER -ONE DOLLAR, and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. Enclosed in a graded NGC holder for further preservation and authentication. Slab measures: 2.25"L x 0.25"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 40.6 mm.
