<B>2007 World Series Game One Dustin Pedroia Home Run Baseball.</B></I> The defining moment of Pedroia's 2007 American League Rookie of the Year season came just two pitches into that year's Fall Classic, as he took Colorado Rockies ace Jeff Francis deep over Fenway Park's fabled Green Monster, only the second time in history that the first batter in a World Series has homered. Presented here is that very baseball that set the dominant tone for the 2007 Series, which the Sox led for all but four of the thirty-six innings it took to secure its second World Championship in four seasons. The Official World Series baseball is nicely rubbed up for its brief, dramatic service to Red Sox history, with the golden stamping seeming particularly appropriate in this context.
