<B>2007-08 Evgeni Malkin Game Worn Jersey.</B></I> Part of a powerful young Russian contingent that includes Alexander Ovechkin, Evgeni Malkin is already one of the most exciting and prolific scorers in the league today. Malkin was the number 2 overall draft in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, but disputes with the Russian Hockey Federation delayed his NHL debut until 2006. His arrival to the league came with a bang, and he won the Calder Trophy for Rookie of the Year in his first season with the Pittsburgh Penguins. From the current season, which at the time of this writing sees him atop the scoring race with only Ovechkin ahead of him, we present this home black jersey in the new Reebok style debuted last year. The Pittsburgh team logo occupies the chest, while "MALKIN" and "71" are applied to the verso in three-color white, black and gold tackle twill. Wear is light, but evident. Right shoulder includes patch honoring the 250th anniversary of the founding of Pittsburgh. Tail includes "2007-08 set #2" tagging from Cutting Edge Sports and includes the name of equipment manager "Dana Heinze". Heinze has also signed the affixed fight strap.
