This 2006 Silver American Eagle represents the 20th issue of the United States Mint's annual bullion coin program and remains one of the most recognized and collected silver coins in the world. Struck in .999 fine silver, it contains one troy ounce of pure silver and carries both intrinsic and numismatic appeal. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's timeless Walking Liberty design, with Lady Liberty draped in the American flag and striding confidently toward the rising sun, symbolizing renewal and hope. The reverse displays a heraldic eagle with shield beneath 13 stars representing the original colonies, designed by John Mercanti, embodying strength and patriotism. Offered in its original government packaging with certificate.
