San Ildefonso Pueblo is located in northern New Mexico. He paints Traditional San Ildefonso Pueblo dances and dancers along with a very wide variety of stylized modern Native compositions. The medium that he enjoys the most is acrylic. Martinez is the great-grandson of famed San Ildefonso Potter Maria Martinez. Jerome has been painting since 1980 and drawing since he was a young child.''
