<B>2005-06 Michael Huff Rose Bowl Game Worn Helmet.</B></I> Not since the Alamo have the people of Texas been so proud of the performance of a group of underdogs as they were when the Longhorns shocked the college football world with a victory over a USC team described as "pro level" and "unbeatable." Any artifact from that event is sacred to the University of Texas fan, and will grow to be moreso with each passing year. Here we present just such an artifact, worn by star safety Michael Huff in the amazing 2006 Rose Bowl, and during the weeks leading up to that "made for Hollywood" event. Huff became the first UT player ever to receive the Jim Thorpe Award this year, presented to the best defensive back in college football. Proper Longhorns logos and lettering appear throughout, perhaps most notably the decals on verso, with "Big 12 Tenth Anniversary" and "Bowl Championship" decals above the State of Texas sticker marking the locations of the vanquished foes in 2005, including (finally) the Oklahoma Sooners. Number "7" and American flag decals are also placed here. Front and back bumpers are properly customized, and the chinstrap and visor favored by Huff are here as well. Wear is solid inside and out.
