<B>2004 Vince Young Game Worn Helmet.</B></I> The architect of one of the single greatest individual performances in sports history, the 2006 Rose Bowl superhero put moderate wear into this Texas Longhorns helmet the season before he carried his team to glory. All stickering and customizations are present and correct, from the modified front and rear bumpers to the side logo decals to the proper numeral font that reads number "10" on the verso. Also found here are the State of Texas map marking the geographical locations of vanquished foes, and the 9/11 memorial American flag. The interior VSR-4 padding system exhibits wear, and we can spot a number "10" markered identifier peeking out above the left ear hole. Young's preferred high chin strap hook up is present, as is the strap itself, though the Nike outer cloth cup cover worn by Young is missing, probably transferred to another helmet. The facemask dates to 2005, though this is to be expected, as the Longhorns helmets are typically reconditioned and used in preseason training the following year. Wear is light but definite throughout . A solid representation of a helmet any University of Texas fan would love to own. <I>LOA from Lou Lampson.</B></I>
