<B>2003 Alfonso Soriano Game Used Bat.</B></I> Soriano was the hottest free agent in the past off-season. The Chicago Cubs made them their highest paid player ever due to what he does with his bat. This Original Maple Bat Co model AS12 is from early in his career with the New York Yankees. The bat is uncracked and shows heavy use with ball and ball stitch marks visible on the back barrel. Also visible on the bat are cleat marks, black bat rack streaks and the impression of a weighted batting donut. The handle has been criss-cross and spiral taped to enhance the grip. There is a heavy coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The bat's length, weight, date of manufacture, model number, order number and Alfonso's initials are written on top of the barrel in black ink. You can't get better documentation than that.
