<B>2001 Vernon Wells Game Worn Jersey.</B></I> Today considered to be among the finest centerfielders in Major League Baseball, Wells was just getting his feet wet in the League when he wore this blue knit beauty in his third season on the roster, but a season that still limited his career appearances to under sixty total games. "Toronto 10" is spelled in tri-tone tackle twill across the chest, with "Wells 10" on verso. Patches on left and right sleeves celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Blue Jays and the centennial of the American League respectively. Embroidered swatch in collar denotes jersey number, year and set with "10 01 S2." Tail holds "Majestic Authentic Collection" label with size "48" flap tag below.
