Pujols absolutely ran away with the Rookie of the Year voting the year he made use of this home white jersey, claiming all thirty-two first place votes for the landslide victory. The front of the jersey presents the classic chenille birds and bat logo and the tackle twill number "5" below. Verso reads, "Pujols 5." Interior tail tagging features a "Rawlings Authentic Collection" label with size "48" and "Set 1 2001" flap tags affixed. The American flag patch at rear collar honors the lives lost in the terror attacks of September 11, further establishing the tremendous significance of this rookie gamer.
