<B>2000-P<$1> Sacagawea Dollar--Multiple Struck Off Center on 20% Straight Clipped Planchet--MS65 NGC.</B></I> The planchet was presumably cut from the end of strip, which gave it a short appearance and a straight edge. Its uncommon shape caused it to be improperly centered over the dies, about 10% off center toward 4:30. After the first strike, it failed to eject, and no new planchet was fed. The piece rotated a degree or two clockwise, then was struck a second time. A multiple error coin, and a true conversation piece.
