<B>2000-P $1 Sacagawea Dollar--Multi-Struck Obverse Split Die--MS66 NGC.</B></I> The obverse die shattered during the strike of this coin. Radial die cracks are present at 1 o'clock, 5 o'clock, and 8:30. The 5 o'clock crack is unusually deep, and kept the piece from ejecting from the dies. It was struck again and again, without any further planchets fed in. The strikes caused an obverse die cap, and the obverse rim is uniformly high where it began to wrap around the obverse die.
