2001 Allen Iverson Signed Fifty-Four Point Game Used Basketball. "Believe it or not, we tried doubling him," explained Cleveland coach Randy Wittman said following A.I.'s career-high fifty-four point performance against the Cavaliers on January 6, 2001. "But he got the ball so far out and was shooting before the double-team got there. What could we really do, anyway?" This Official NBA Game Ball, complete with "Cleveland Cavaliers" stamping, played an active role in one of the finest performances of Iverson's Hall of Fame career. Properly wishing to memorialize this historic game, Iverson signed and dated this game ball in 10/10 black sharpie, though he made the mistake we all so often do early in a new calendar year and instinctively wrote "00" for the year, rather than the proper "01." This is a piece that will surely gain even further collecting value when Springfield inevitably comes calling for the superstar point guard. LOA from PSA/DNA.
