2000<1C> Lincoln Cent--Struck on a Clad Roosevelt Dime--MS66 PCGS. This phenomenal "11 cent piece" is a 2000-dated Lincoln cent struck over an already-struck Roosevelt dime, presumably a 2000-P. The Lincoln design is struck obverse-to-reverse (and vice versa, of course) at about an 85-degree angle to the Roosevelt design, so that Lincoln's chin and jaw overlie the Roosevelt reverse torch. Most of the 00 digits from the cent strike are legible, as are portions of ONE DIME around the obverse rim. On the reverse, the outline of Roosevelt's head neatly encircles the Lincoln Memorial building, but evidence of the dime date 200 remains (the last digit has been removed by the Lincoln strike), and the P dime mintmark above is clear.
