Twenty bound volumes of newspapers from the Pasadena Daily Star, Daily Evening Star, and the Daily News with dates ranging from 1888-1906. The city of Pasadena, California incorporated on June 19, 1986, becoming one of the first cities to incorporate in Los Angeles County. The city is known for the Rose Bowl football game and the Tournament of Roses Parade. The bulk of these bound volumes range from 1888- 1897, which makes them invaluable for research into the early days of Pasadena.

These volumes were released after the information became microfilmed.
