1) Cal. 12 GA, 2 3/4". S# 36071. Bbl. 28". Model 55 semi-automatic shotgun mfg. by Winchester in 1955 (second year of mfg.). Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting the model and cal. designations above "MOD". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, with the bolt being in-the-white, and with the alloy trigger housing exhibiting a black anodized finish. Checkered wood forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered black synthetic Winchester buttplate. Aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, showing some light wear and thinning (primarily on edges), with scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Right side of receiver exhibits an area of light to mild pitting. Bolt shows scattered spots of light pitting and some areas of age related discoloration. Very bright bore, exhibiting light pitting. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered scratches, marks, and minor impressions, with the forearm exhibiting a chip on the left side at the bbl. channel and with the buttstock exhibiting a small chip at the toe. (25-4475/MLW). CURIO. 2) CUSTOM. Cal. 12 GA, 2 3/4". S# 194877. Bbl. shortened to 26". Model 50 semi-automatic shotgun mfg. by Winchester in 1961. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting the model and cal. designations above a "WS-1" choke marking. Trigger guard bow features a section of added scroll engraving. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt and carrier which have been jeweled in-the-white, as well as the alloy trigger housing which exhibits a black anodized finish. Checkered fancy walnut wood forearm and natural white capped pistol grip stock with ventilated red rubber Winchester recoil pad. Buttstock has been sanded and refinished at one time. Matte V/R with red synthetic bead front sight. Safety button is locked in the firing position via a rnd. stopper. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original blue finish, showing light to mild edge wear and scattered superficial marks and scratches overall. Top of receiver exhibits several spots of dark oxidation at the rear. Mirror bore, exhibiting a layer of heavy fowling at the muzzle area. Proper manual mechanics. Forearm shows wear and flaking to its varnish finish, with scattered superficial handling marks. Stock is good, showing striations from prior sanding, as well as some scattered marks and impressions.
