<B>Lot of Two Theodore Roosevelt Typed Letters Signed as the Editor of <I>The Outlook</B></I></B></I> “<I>Theodore Roosevelt</B></I>”. The first letter is one page, 7.75” x 9.5”, on <I>The Outlook</B></I> letterhead, Oyster Bay, August 17, 1911, to Robert Bridges, New York. In this letter Roosevelt invites his friend Robert Bridge, an author for <I>Scribners Magazine</B></I> for a visit to Oyster Bay, Long Island. He writes in part: “<I>I you have nothing better to do, and nowhere gay to which you intend to go, we shall be very happy to have you come out here on Saturday the 26th of this month and stay until Monday…but remember we live quietly, and I mean what I say, seriously, when I ask you not to come if there is any place you can go where there is a little gaiety!</B></I>” With the letter is another letter, one page, on <I>The Outlook</B></I> letterhead, dated September 1, 1911 thanking Bridges for spending the aforementioned weekend with him: “<I>It was good having you out at Oyster Bay on Sunday. We all of us enjoyed you to the full.</B></I>” Two fine letters with bold Theodore Roosevelt signatures. <I>From the collection of Henry E.
