<B>Pair of Serving Trays Presented to Barbara Bush by Nancy Reagan from the Sharon Bush Collection</B></I>. The black-lacquered wooden trays each measure 19” x 11.75”, and feature cat-tail floral designs on the flat surface. These lovely matching trays come to the collecting public directly from a White House insider. The serving trays were given as a gift from Nancy Reagan to Barbara Bush, who then subsequently gifted them to Neil and Sharon Bush. An intriguing aspect concerns the drink rings remaining on the surface of one of the trays. Were these left over from a White House meeting between Nancy Reagan and Barbara Bush? Did a president (or two) set his drink down here? It is most fun to speculate on the people and places these simple serving trays may have seen.
