Nickel finished medium frame w/ sideplate, spur trigger, bushed firing pin, mushroom shaped release button & linkage operated extractor. 2 Piece walnut grips. Butt of frame is cut for shoulder stock attachment, stock is not present. Frame, bbl. & vernier sight have matching numbers. Estimated production of 1,500 (1884-1886). CONDITION: 90% nickel showing light marks & spots of freckling. Bbl. retains 60% dull faded blue showing dark spots & light pitting. Grips show finish wear w/ scattered handling marks. Bore is dark w/ worn rifling & light pitting. (01-17015/DS). 2) FIRST ISSUE. S# 1424. Bbl. 10" rnd. w/ oct. shank & blue finish. Bbl. has non matching number "2459". Combination globe front sight w/ elevation adj. rear peep sight. Medium weight frame w/ nickel finish, sideplate, spur trigger, straight style release button, firing pin on hammer & spring operated extractor. 2 Piece rosewood grips. Butt is cut for shoulder stock attachment, stock is not present. Estimated production 8,000, (1872-1875). UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: home made wooden storage box containing cleaning brush & 11 rds. early copper cased 22 Short ammo. CONDITION: frame retains 90% nickel showing sm. dents & scratches. Bbl. retains 80% dull lightly faded blue. Grips have dark worn appearance w/ handling marks. Extractor is non functioning replacement. Dark pitted bore w/ traces of rifling remaining. (01-17046/DS).
