ALL: cal. 45-70. Bbls. 32 5/8". 1) 1888. S# 507251. Replacement blade front sight w/ Buffington rear sight. 1884 Dated low arch breech block. 2 Band walnut stock w/ Model 1888 style ramrod bayonet. Peak of buttplate is marked "6 / 1st SEP. CO". Stock under buttplate is marked "ROY P. ANDERSON". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: bayonet. CONDITION: metal has faded to mottled gray brown patina. Stock has worn weathered appearance w/ dents & handling marks having cracks & chips at lock & toe areas w/ lg. chips along ramrod channel. Bore has intact rifling showing light pitting. (01-18326/DS). 2) ASSEMBLED TRAPDOOR. NSN. Bbl. 32 5/8" w/ worn front sight, rear sight is removed. Receiver is pitted w/ illegible S#. Early high arch 1873 dated breech block. Lockplate shows no original markings & has a hand stamped 1884 date. Long comb 2 band walnut stock w/ fitting for ramrod bayonet, no ramrod is present. CONDITION: metal has mottled gray brown patina showing heavy cleaning & areas of pitting. Refinished stock shows sm. dents & handling marks. Receiver hinge is broken at right side of breech block. Ejector is not present. Bore rusty & plugged. (01-18399/DS). ALL ANTIQUE. $500-750.
