2 RUGER NEW MODEL ENGRAVED NUMBERED SINGLE-SIX
REVOLVERS. BOTH: cal. 22 LR. Bbls. 5 1/2" w/ blade front sight & warning marks discretely on bottom. Mfg. 2019 w/ catalog number 00682 by Ruger. Vaquero style frame w/ notched rear sight. Stainless grip frame; balance blued to include steel ejector housing. Highly figured walnut grips w/ black eagle medallions individually fitted by Scott Kolar. All modifications done by famous Ruger orientated gunsmith, Bobby Tyler of Friona, TX. Tyler Gun Works. CONDITION: all aspects of both appear new & unfired. 1) S# RSSE-0026. Special edition similar to original Jarred engraved models done in 1950's of which about 260 were produced; considered to be the Holy Grail of Ruger collecting. Modern recreation using Vaquero style Single-Six as Ruger doesn't offer a model w/ blade rear sight like originals. Originally offered at $2,499. Blued after hand cut engraving beautifully executed by Rocky Sharp. Appearing like originals but w/ stainless grip frame rather than aluminum. Loading gate modified to flat latch style of originals. Limited to 100 revolvers making these even scarcer than originals. Tyler Gun Works provided black leatherette display box that is very similar to originals complete w/ green velvet fitted interior, nickel plated hardware, & gold Ruger eagle emblem on top of lid. Engraving is signed "TGW" in location & manner of "CHJ" done by Charles H. Jarred on originals. Additionally, TGW also tuned action to include forcing cone work, honing action & cyl. aligning. A truly stunning tribute to originals. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory grey plastic case, Tyler signed certificate of authenticity plus black presentation/display case. (21-1296/NW). 2) S# RSSE-0173. As engraved models were limited to 100, an overrun of slightly less than 100 were sold through Lipsey's w/ slight Tyler enhancements. Fitted w/ same stainless grip frame having figured grips & black eagle medallions. They were not engraved but hammer & trigger are case colored (Tyler's is well known for its case coloring abilities). Ejector housing is steel but loading gate is unaltered contoured style. Very scarce pairing of both variations having rare RSSE S# prefix. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: grey factory case. (21-1297/NW). BOTH MODERN. $2,000-2,750.
