Matte on Black by Mary Cain ''Blue Rain'' (1916-2010) Tewa name Blue Rain, measures 3''D x 2''H and is signed on the bottom, FYI: ''Born in 1916, Mary Cain actively made redware and blackware since 1930. She won numerous awards throughout the years and her pottery items continue to remain much sought after by collectors around the world.'' 2. San Ildefonso by Blue Corn, this pot is chipped and glued, measures 2 1/8''D x 1.75''H and is signed on the bottom, FYI: ''Blue Corn (Crucita Gonzales Calabaza, 1921-1999) was introduced to pottery making by her grandmother at the age of three. Shortly after that Maria Martinez' sister gave her the name ''Blue Corn'' during the annual San Ildefonso Naming Ceremony. She was renowned for her polychrome Blue Corn pottery but also for her distinctive blackware. In 1981 she won the ''Governor's Award'', which is New Mexico's highest artistic honor.''
