1. [CAXTON CLUB.] WILKINS, ERNEST HATCH. The Trees of the Genealogia Deorum of Boccaccio. Chicago: The Caxton Club, 1923. 4to. 1 of an edition of 160 copies on paper made by hand at Fabiano, Italy. Half vellum paper and cream paper, gilt to spine. 24 color and black and white plates. Decorative chapter initials are copied from the edition of Venice, 1494. Fair to Good. The cover paper is soiled/discolored, foxing along one side of the cover. There is foxing on the fore-edges, but the pages themselves, plates, are clean. Previous owner's bookplate on pastedown.  2. [GRABHORN PRESS.] An Original Leaf fromo the Polycronicon printed by William Caxton at Westminster in the year 1482 [MISSING]. The Life and Works of William Caxton, with an historical reminder of fifteenth century England by Benjamin P. Kurtz, together with a note on the Polycronicon by Oscar Lewis and an Appreciation of William Caxton by Edwin Grabhorn. San Francisco: The Grabhorn Press for the Book Club of California, 1938. 4to. Brown paper over board with black stamp of Caxton's mark on front and back covers, linen spine. Poor. THE TIPPED-IN CAXTON LEAF IS NOT PRESENT. Staining to linen spine, slight toning/foxing on first several pages, but the rest are clean. Previous owner's bookplate on pastedown.
