2 Antique Photo Prints RR Railroad Railway Stations
These 2 antique photos portrays some early railroad stations, with awaiting passengers. All are albumen prints on backings, with cards measuring 5" x 5" and 8" x 10". The large photo portrays 3 men who worked at the Swan River Minnesota station of the Great Northern Express Company, which operated roughly from 1909-1913. It is marked "No Car No Favors", and lists the operators by name. Another photo shows two employees of the Southern Express Company, a railroad known for its importance in transporting mail to and from soldiers during the Civil War. The back is marked with their names, and dated 12/24/02. One photo is very clear, and the other is slightly off-focus. They are in good to very good condition. * These are fine original prints of early American railroads.
