2:00PM SATURDAY FEATURE
1969 FIREBIRD 400

Pontiac models have always been a cut above Chevrolet and the Firebird was no exception. More luxurious interiors and body styling that came at an additional cost, thus eventually only producing and selling a fraction of the numbers of its Camaro cousin, further enhancing its collectability today. This Firebird is an award-winning show quality example and one in concours condition as this one is presented is a rare and welcomed sight and conversation. This PHS documented Firebird 400 has been the recipient of a professional rotisserie body off the frame, nut and bolt restoration well into six figure range and quality. Finished in original configuration of Antique Gold with White Parchment interior. Powered with the original #s matching W66 400ci engine producing 330hp, and original #s matching turbo 400 hydro-matic transmission. Loaded with factory convenience options that include power steering, power brakes, deluxe interior with buckets seats and centre console, AM/FM radio, rally gauges, tachometer, wood steering wheel, rallye II wheels w/BFG radials, dual exhaust and much more. Furthermore, during restoration, the frame and key suspension parts were powder coated and it was custom retro-fitted with a few subtle modern-day upgrades including performance front and rear sway bars, 4-wheel disc brake conversion, and performance Mandrel exhaust. One of only 6921 produced with bulleproof provenance, including Pontiac Historical Services documentation, copy of original build sheet, option and cost invoice and professional appraisal. Only 400 test/tune break-in miles since completion.
