D. James Kent  ( 1763 - 1847 ) was an American jurist & legal scholar & author of Commentaries on American Law & Chancellor of NY State. Major General Philip Schuyler ( 1733-1804 ) Revolutionary War Major General, Battle of Saratoga, & Senator from New York. Dewitt Clinton ( 1769 - 1828 ) DeWitt Clinton was an American politician & naturalist who served as a United States Senator, Mayor of New York City & sixth Governor of New York. In this last capacity, he was largely responsible for the construction of the Erie Canal. Approx 6" X 10 1/2" each. * foxing & light discoloration to one print at top left.Â
